Omaha HVAC Help

Privacy Policy

Privacy Policy

Effective as of October 22, 2026.

State Privacy Rights Notice: See the State privacy rights notice section below for important information about your rights under applicable state privacy laws.

Agentic Consulting LLC ("Omaha HVAC Help," "we", "us" or "our") provides a free referral service that connects Omaha-area homeowners with independent HVAC contractors. This Privacy Policy describes how Omaha HVAC Help processes personal information that we collect through our digital or online properties or services that link to this Privacy Policy (including our website at omahahvachelp.com) as well as our other activities described in this Privacy Policy (collectively, the "Service").

We are a referral service, not an HVAC contractor. When you ask for a quote, we review your request and connect you with one independent local HVAC contractor who can help. If we can't find a contractor for your request, we'll let you know. That contractor, not us, contacts you, quotes the job, and does any work. See "Contractors you ask us to connect you with" below.

Personal information we collect

Information you provide to us. Personal information you may provide to us through the Service or otherwise includes:

  1. Contact data, such as your first name and phone number.
  2. Location data you enter, such as your ZIP code.
  3. Request data, such as the HVAC problem you describe, how soon you need help, and any notes you choose to add.
  4. Consent data, such as whether you checked the box agreeing to be called and texted, the wording you agreed to, and when you agreed.
  5. Communications data based on our exchanges with you, including when you email us.
  6. Other data not specifically listed here, which we will use as described in this Privacy Policy or as otherwise disclosed at the time of collection.

Third-party sources. We may combine personal information we receive from you with personal information we obtain from other sources, such as:

Contractors, such as a contractor's report on whether they reached you or whether your request was valid.

Service providers that provide services on our behalf or help us operate the Service or our business.

Business transaction partners. We may receive personal information in connection with an actual or prospective business transaction. For example, we may receive your personal information from an entity we acquire or are acquired by, a successor, or assignee or any party involved in a business transaction such as a merger, acquisition, sale of assets, or similar transaction, and/or in the context of an insolvency, bankruptcy, or receivership.

Automatic data collection. We and our service providers may automatically log information about you, your computer or mobile device, and your interaction with the Service, such as:

  1. Device data, such as your browser type, device type (e.g., phone, tablet), IP address, and general location information such as city, state or geographic area. We store a one-way hash of your IP address with your request, not the address itself. If our hosting provider (Cloudflare) estimates from your IP address that you are in a ZIP code we serve, we use that estimate only to pre-fill the ZIP field on our form. You can change it, and we don't keep it unless you submit the form.
  2. Online activity data, such as the page where you started your request, the website you visited before coming to the Service, campaign tags in the link you followed (for example "utm" parameters), and which steps of the request form you reached.

For more information concerning our automatic collection of data, please see the Tracking & Other Technologies section below.

Tracking & Other Technologies

Cookies and other technologies. Some of our automatic data collection is facilitated by cookies and other technologies. We use browser session storage to remember your answers while you move between steps of the request form and to remember the campaign tags from the link you followed. For more information, see our Cookie Notice.

Bot protection. We use Cloudflare Turnstile to help tell people apart from automated spam when you submit a request. Turnstile processes information about your browser and device to do this. Cloudflare's privacy policy is at https://www.cloudflare.com/privacypolicy/.

For information concerning your choices with respect to the use of tracking technologies, see the Your choices section of our Cookie Notice.

How we use your personal information

We may use your personal information for the following purposes or as otherwise described at the time of collection:

Service delivery and operations. We may use your personal information to:

provide the Service, including reviewing your request and sending it to one HVAC contractor who can help;

enable security features of the Service, including spam and abuse prevention;

communicate with you about your request, including by phone or email (we do not send text messages ourselves; the contractor may call or text you); and

provide support for the Service, and respond to your requests, questions and feedback.

Service improvement and analytics. We may use your personal information to analyze your usage of the Service, improve the Service, improve the rest of our business, and help us understand user activity on the Service, including which pages lead to requests and how visitors move through the request form. For more information on analytics, see our Cookie Notice.

Compliance and protection. We may use your personal information to:

comply with applicable laws, lawful requests, and legal process, such as to respond to subpoenas, investigations or requests from government authorities;

keep records of the consent you gave to be called and texted;

protect our, your or others' rights, privacy, safety or property (including by making and defending legal claims);

audit our internal processes for compliance with legal and contractual requirements or our internal policies;

enforce the terms and conditions that govern the Service; and

prevent, identify, investigate and deter fraudulent, harmful, unauthorized, unethical or illegal activity, including cyberattacks and identity theft.

Data sharing in the context of corporate events. We may share certain personal information in the context of actual or prospective corporate events. For more information, see How we share your personal information, below.

To create aggregated, de-identified and/or anonymized data. We may create aggregated, de-identified and/or anonymized data from your personal information and other individuals whose personal information we collect. We make personal information into de-identified and/or anonymized data by removing information that makes the data identifiable to you and we will not attempt to reidentify any such data. We may use this aggregated, de-identified and/or anonymized data and share it with third parties for our lawful business purposes, including analyzing and improving the Service and promoting our business.

Further uses. In some cases, we may use your personal information for further uses, in which case we will ask for your consent to use your personal information for those further purposes if they are not compatible with the initial purpose for which information was collected.

Retention

We generally retain personal information to fulfill the purposes for which we collected it, including for the purposes of satisfying any legal, accounting, or reporting requirements, establishing or defending legal claims, or for fraud prevention purposes. To determine the appropriate retention period for personal information, we may consider factors such as the amount, nature, and sensitivity of the personal information, the potential risk of harm from unauthorized use or disclosure of your personal information, the purposes for which we process your personal information and whether we can achieve those purposes through other means, and the applicable legal requirements. We keep records of the consent you gave to be called and texted for as long as we may need them to show that consent was given.

When we no longer require the personal information we have collected about you, we may either delete it, anonymize it, or isolate it from further processing.

How we share your personal information

We may share your personal information with the following parties (or as otherwise described in this Privacy Policy, in other applicable notices, or at the time of collection).

Contractors you ask us to connect you with. When you submit a request, you direct us to share your first name, phone number, ZIP code, the problem you described, how soon you need help, and your notes with one independent local HVAC contractor we find who can help, so that contractor can call or text you about your request and give you a quote. The contractor is a separate business. Its use of your information is governed by its own privacy practices.

Service providers. Third parties that provide services on our behalf or help us operate the Service or our business (such as hosting, information technology, bot protection, email delivery, and website analytics). Our current providers include Cloudflare (hosting, database, and bot protection), Microsoft (email, through Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Graph, used to send us alerts about new requests), and Grok Bot (an AI assistant service we use to alert us to new requests; a copy of each new-request alert, including the details you submit, is sent to our Grok Bot inbox).

Third parties designated by you. We may share your personal information with third parties where you have instructed us or provided your consent to do so.

Professional advisors. Professional advisors, such as lawyers, auditors, bankers and insurers, in the course of the professional services that they render to us.

Authorities and others. Law enforcement, government authorities, and private parties, as we believe in good faith to be necessary or appropriate for the Compliance and protection purposes described above.

Business transferees. We may disclose personal information in the context of actual or prospective business transactions (e.g., investments in Agentic Consulting LLC, financing of Agentic Consulting LLC, or the sale, transfer or merger of all or part of our business, assets or shares). For example, we may need to share certain personal information with prospective counterparties and their advisers. We may also disclose your personal information to an acquirer, successor, or assignee of Agentic Consulting LLC as part of any merger, acquisition, sale of assets, or similar transaction, and/or in the event of an insolvency, bankruptcy, or receivership in which personal information is transferred to one or more third parties as one of our business assets.
